The stadium is slated to include Shade Curtain-Tensile Fabric shade structure, Water Walls, using water to cool walls to help cool the facility and a 360-degree concourse. Phoenix is one the largest U.S. markets without an MLS team, but a bid for a team has to overcome the Valley’s extreme summer heat. The proposed design will be environmentally and culturally relevant to Arizona.

This proposal-mock-up concept was produced for A7, following the deal struck last May between the Diamondbacks and Maricopa County. This allowed the team to start looking for a new home immediately throughout the valley. The venue is designed to contain approximately 38,000 seats, 40 luxury suites, 4,000 club/premium seats. The roof serving a dual role of providing comfort from Arizona’s extreme outside temperatures, the translucent membrane shading the adjacent 365-day, mixed-use climate-controlled plazas.

Los Angeles-based immersive entertainment company Vortex Immersion Media wants to give consumers a new way to experience virtual reality (VR) without those pesky headsets: Concept: 360-degree dome multiplex that can seat up to 2,500 visitors in its main theater.The Domeplex will feature what Vortex executives described as “community VR” — immersive multi-sensory experiences that can be consumed together, without the need to put on headsets.
